The History of Future Folk

Great movie for date night or family night
The premise of the movie, about aliens who come to earth, hear music for the first time and spare the Earth because of it sounded very much to my taste. It's charming and sweet, without being awful. I was very entertained, and I'll probably buy the movie, because I can watch this one again. The costumes are low budget, but enjoyable and kind of classy kitch. I particularly enjoyed the fight scene cut with the tango scene. A lot to like. So apparently, irl these guys have been dressing up in spacesuits and playing music together at least since 2007. That's a story I'd like to hear more about! The music was surprisingly good, and the songs were very fun. Watch it, you won't be disappointed.

Campy, but tremendous fun
I have had an interest in watching this film since the trailer came out. I'm too cheap to spend the money to watch every film in a theater, but at $0.99 rental, it seemed like time to jump in. I was pleasantly surprised that the story avoided offensive elements while telling a simple tale. The music is really fun. Sure, it doesn't have all the slick production values of some of the more popular fare, but it was a nice, simple story which I would be willing to watch as a family. I would watch this again.

Flight of the Concords meets B movie sci fi
My boyfriend and I loved this movie! It is so much fun, and the songs will get stuck in your head. The best way we could come up with to describe it is if Flight of the Concords decided to make a sci fi movie. So if you enjoy either of those things, give this a shot!
